🧸 Emotional Safety
What if I have a meltdown or shutdown?
I’ll stay present and give you quiet space but I can’t guarantee I won’t get overwhelmed too—I'm not superhuman, I’m autistic.
Is it okay if I cancel or reschedule a call last minute?
If it’s an emergency, I understand—life happens.
Otherwise, I ask for at least a day’s notice. I mentally prep and review notes before every meeting, so short-notice cancellations without a solid reason feel unfair and can make me question how reliable our collaboration might be.
Do I need to mask or be professional all the time?
If being professional means showing up in your PJs and cracking dark humour jokes, go for it.
And if you’re able, leave your mask at the door. I’d much rather work with the real you.
How do you support ND clients who get overwhelmed easily?
I’m not a therapist, but if something feels like too much, say so. We’ll pause, adjust, or simplify where we can.
📋 Service-Related
What kinds of tasks can you help with?
- Email management
- Digital file management
- Data entry
- Calendar Scheduling
- Spreadsheets
- Proofreading
- Booking
- Travel planning
Can I delegate things slowly over time?
Absolutely. In fact, easing in helps me avoid overload and get more efficient, faster.
Do you offer once-off help or only ongoing support?
I work on a retainer basis only. Why? Because onboarding you uses many energy spoons.
It’s exciting, but it also needs a full-brain focus to learn how you work, what systems you use (or don’t), where the chaos lives, and how to tame it.
Once that’s done I can start falling into a groove and switch to the focused and efficient flow mode.
It's like a good pair of boots—they're stiff at first, but later you can't imagine wearing any other.
Will you remind me of deadlines or appointments?
I can help you set up reminders, alarms, or notifications but I won't be available to contact you live.
🌈 Values & ND Vibes
Why do you work specifically with neurodivergent clients?
I’m a late-diagnosed autistic person with first-hand experience of what it means to be neurodivergent—what it’s like to be disabled, forced to mask, and excluded by society. Because of that, I relate to other ND people, their struggles, and needs.
I may not always empathise with experiences outside of my own—but I am aware that everyone’s perspective is different, and it guides my interactions with other ND people.
What makes you different from other virtual assistants?
I am neurospicy!! ☺️
Oh, you mean from other ND VAs? Like every VA—ND or not—I’m unique.
It’s not about my services or retainers. It’s about me and what I bring to the table.
I am functionality, quality, and efficiency.
I’m like autistic clothes—not flashy, but the best damn solution to the sensory problem.
I’m a doer, thinker, and problem-solver. I’m not a florist who arranges beautiful bouquets out of words.
I use words to communicate: clearly, directly, efficiently. If that’s not your thing, hire the florist.
Like a squirrel, I’m endlessly curious. Digital tools fire me up. I love figuring out systems, mastering them, and then becoming efficient like a Swiss watch.
As an added bonus, I’m quirky, optimistic, always preparing for the worst but hoping for the best.
And most importantly—I’m like L’Oréal: Worth it.
Do I have to be diagnosed to work with you?
Not at all. I feel incredibly lucky that I was able to pursue and receive an official diagnosis—but I know how ridiculously hard it can be for others.
Depending on where you live, the waiting lists can be years long, the costs are back-breaking, and it's extremely difficult to find competent diagnosticians. If I were in your position, unable to access a diagnosis to get that final confirmation, I’d go crazy.
I admire all of you who self-identify for your strength, conviction and courage to trust your inner voice. You belong to the tribe and deserve support when you need it.
Are you LGBTQIA+ and/or disability affirming?
I’m queer, neurodivergent, and very familiar with what it feels like to be disabled by NT society.
I believe everyone has the right to live their life without needing to explain or justify who they are.
Diversity isn’t a problem to solve—it’s the people who who refuse to value difference.
What kinds of clients do you not work with?
People who are:
- disrespectful
- passive-aggressive
- constantly changing expectations
- unwilling to communicate clearly—even when something’s wrong—we won’t be a good fit.
I don’t do games, mixed signals, or micromanagement.
I need clarity, consistency, and mutual respect.
If you expect perfection but can’t give feedback, or you don’t value humour or humanity, I’m not your VA.
🐌 ND Paces & Rhythms
What if I need time off, or disappear for a bit?
I understand that you might need time away—and if I’m in autopilot mode, you won’t even need to be on Earth for things to keep running on my end.
That said, if something important comes up and I don’t hear back from you within 24 hours, I will freak out. I’m autistic, and not having access to decision-making when I need it is highly stressful.
So if you plan to go quiet, please let me know in advance—and if possible, leave an emergency protocol I can follow. That way, I won’t panic and can keep things moving.
Do I need to be consistent in how I show up?
You don’t need to be consistent. You need to be reliable. I need to know I can count on your support—just like can you count on mine. If I can’t rely on you to show up when it matters, then it’s fair to ask: why should I care more than you do?
Can I set working boundaries that reflect my energy levels?
Absolutely. I have my boundaries, and you have yours. As long as they don’t clash or create friction, we’re good. If they do, then we’ll need to reassess if working together makes sense.
How flexible are you with deadlines and timelines?
Deadlines and timelines trigger my anxiety. Just knowing there’s a ticking clock stresses me out. I focus better and work faster when there is no time limit. So no, I don’t do deadlines or timelines. Full stop. They’re non-negotiable and not part of how I work. If you need time-bound delivery, I’m not the right person for you.
💬 Communication
Do I have to be on camera during our video call?
Nope! If being on camera feels uncomfortable, you can point it away or turn it off completely. As long as we can chat by voice, we’re good.
Can I communicate by email only?
Absolutely! If you prefer email, just select that option when booking your Discovery Chat.
What if I need extra time to reply or make decisions?
No problem at all! I often need extra time myself—so I understand. Take the time you need; there’s no rush here.
Can I stim, pace, fidget, or take breaks during meetings?
Of course. We’re both ND—do whatever helps you feel comfortable.
Short breaks (up to 10 minutes) are totally fine during our 45-minute call.
If you think you’ll need more time away, we might need to pause and reschedule.
What if I forget what we talked about?
I'm ND too, so I might forget as well! 😅
That's why I'll be taking notes for both of us.
🖥️ Tools & Processes
Can you work with my existing tools/systems, or help me build new ones?
If your current tools are important to you, I’ll use them—even if it takes some learning.
If they’re not working for you, I can help you choose better ones that would suit your needs, budget, and how you work.
What tools or software do you use?
You asked, so here we go 😅
To keep things integrated, I use a selection of Zoho tools (Write, Sheets, Books, Invoice, Sign, Calendar, and WorkDrive).
For creative stuff, I turn to Inkscape, Canva, ChatGPT, OpenArt AI, and BeFunky AI. I also hoard notes in Joplin.
Last but not least, I use Coda and Notion for my not-yet-ready-to-be-unveiled project pipeline 👀
Do I need to learn any new apps to work with you?
Possibly just one—the customer portal. All you’ll need to do is sign up, and sign in, to keep an eye on progress of our tasks. Other than that, you won’t have to use anything new unless you want to try different tools.
How do we share files/tasks/information?
Tasks and information will go through the client portal. For files, we’ll use a cloud storage system (like WorkDrive, Dropbox, OneDrive, or Google Drive)—yours or mine, depending on what we agree on.
🤝 Our Collab
What’s the process if I want to work with you?
- You can click on any of the “Book the Chat” buttons on the website, or book the Discovery Call directly.
- Once you fill out the form, you’ll be able to book a date that works for you. On the day, we’ll connect using your preferred communication method.
- You can ask anything, and I’ll explain things in as little or as much detail as you want.
- If we both feel good about moving forward, I’ll send over a contract for you to review. If you have questions—just ask.
- When you’re happy and send it back signed, we’ll schedule one more chat to go over technicalities.
- Then I get to work—and you get to focus on the business side of your business.
How do you organize tasks and priorities?
I use digital tools to stay organized and follow the priorities we agree on during setup—whatever matters most to you will lead the way.
What’s your communication style — short + direct, long + detailed, etc.?
I might have a bit of flair for writing, but when it comes to person-to-person communication, I prefer it short, direct, to the point—and detailed. Conversations use up a lot of processing power, so the less distraction the better.
Can we go at my pace, not hustle culture speed?
That’s music to my ears!
Yes, yes, and yes.
Will you judge me if my systems are a mess?
I'm not NT—and I’m not here to judge, I’m here to help. If everything was already perfect, you wouldn’t need me, right?
Can I brain-dump at you even if it's disorganized?
Tell me, when is a brain-dump ever organized?
But I’ll do my best to catch the key points.
What if I don’t know what help I need yet?
Then I’ll help you figure it out—and you might be surprised just how much there is.
How often will we check in or communicate?
That depends on what stage we’re at and what you’re comfortable with.
In the beginning, more frequent communication may be needed—we’ll both have questions, clarifications, and things to align on. Over time, as I get used to your work style and tasks, I’ll need less guidance and will shift into autopilot mode. At that point, check-ins become less frequent.
We can do live check-ins weekly or bi-weekly to stay in sync, especially early on. Once things are flowing, monthly or as-needed is usually enough—whatever feels right for you.
These check-ins help us:
- Review the progress and processes
- Plan or prioritise what’s next
- Clarify any confusions
- Brainstorm or make decisions in real-time
- Address anything that’s not working
But live calls aren't mandatory. If you prefer, we can keep it asynchronous through the client portal, messages, or pre-recorded notes. As long as we’re communicating clearly and nothing gets blocked, live check-ins are optional.
Let me know what works best for your brain and we’ll build around that.
📜 Ground rules
Is there a contract or agreement involved?
Yes. Once we agree to work together, I’ll send over a contract for you to review and sign. After signing, the terms become binding.
You can end the contract any time with 2 weeks' written notice. Otherwise, it renews automatically—assuming we're both happy to keep working together. A new invoice will be sent 3 days before the next billing period and must be paid within 3 days.
Can I read the contract in advance and ask questions?
Absolutely. Take your time—transparency and informed decisions matter to me. That's why I want you to fully understand what you're signing and feel confident about it.
How much notice do I need to give if I want to stop working together?
A minimum of two weeks. Life happens—people meet, they journey together for a while, and then go their separate ways. The notice allows me to mentally adjust and to prepare space for someone else who might want to travel the road with me.
What happens if either of us needs to cancel or reschedule often?
That depends on how it affects our working together. If it starts feeling too stressful for either of us then it’s better to pause or stop than to push through and burn out. But if it’s not causing problems and we’re both comfortable, then there’s no need to fix what isn’t broken.
How do you handle confidential or sensitive information?
I’m GDPR-compliant and won’t share your information unless it’s needed to do the job or required by law.
Basically—your secrets are safe with me.
What do you do with my personal/business information?
I store your info safely and follow GDPR rules. Honestly, I don’t care if you have a collection of 300 rubber ducks in your office, use a banana slicer to sharpen pencils, or wear a unicorn onesie to meetings. You do you—I’m not here to judge, I’m here to get admin done.
🪷 Routines & Limits
What are your working hours, and how flexible are they?
I usually work for 3–4 hours after I get up, then I need to decompress. Later at night—around 11pm—when my brain feels fresh again, I work for another 2–3 hours. I’m not available outside of those times.
What’s your response time for emails/messages?
I aim for less but 48hrs is the maximum.
Can we co-create boundaries that work for both of us?
We should but if we can't then we're not meant to work together.
What happens if I cross a boundary without meaning to?
Mistakes happen—we’re human. Most of us have spent our lives being punished for crossing boundaries we didn’t even know existed, so I’m not going to turn around and do that to you.
But if I let you know you’ve crossed a line and ask you not to do it again, then going forward, you do know. From that point on, it’s no longer accidental.
💰 Money & Payments
How much are your services?
My base rate is €40/hour but my retainers offer progressive pricing—so the more hours you book, the better the value.
Do you offer payment plans or sliding scale pricing?
No. My rates are fixed and reflect the knowledge and experience that I put into my services.
That's why I work with clients who want to invest in reliable, long-term support.
Can I start small and increase support later?
Of course! If you’ve never worked with a VA before, I recommend starting with the CALM retainer (10 hours/month).
It’s the easiest way to see if working together fits your needs.
Do I have to pay upfront?
Yes—payment is required in full before I begin any work.
This is standard industry practice and non-negotiable.
Once you receive the invoice and pay it in full, I’ll get started (or resume work if we’ve already begun).
What if I need to pause or stop services?
- You can pause services, but if the pause extends past the start of the next billing period, any unused hours will be void.
- If the next invoice isn’t paid within 3 days, work stops.
- If it's still unpaid after 7 days, the contract will be considered dissolved.
- To stop services entirely, just give me 2 weeks’ notice. Any unused hours will be forfeit.
- You’re welcome to return later by signing a new contract, depending on availability.
